Scump Says CoD Will NEVER Be The Same

While watching his famous 88-0 run in Black Ops 2, Call Of Duty Pro Scump admitted the game now is rough, and he would love to back to the golden age of CoD.

OpTic Scump has had issues with modern Call of Duty titles for a while, even being fined for speaking out against the flaws in Modern Warfare, and having little positive to say about Cold War or even the new Call Of Duty: Vanguard. So when he watched his old 88-0 Black ops 2 clip on his Twitch stream, he couldn’t help but wish CoD was back in that “golden age”.

Scump misses a lot of things about the older Call Of Duty titles, pointing out how one squad actually had all snipers, which is something completely unheard of in modern call of duty titles, and saying we would never see anything like that again. Scump also pointed out his famous 88-0 run would be impossible in today’s Call Of Duty because of SBMM, and said we would never see big videos like this again.

Scump misses sniping, league play, non-SBMM lobbies...basically everything from the golden age of Call of Duty, and with the OpTic pro having only committed to one more year of CDL, and his T2P duo FormaL already retired, and Call Of Duty:Vanguard not seeming to win over many pros, this could really be the last year in an amazing CoD career.

What else I notice is there isn’t a useless massive amount of VFX on anything, there is no clutter on the map, enemies are easily visible. They seriously need to cut down on the bullshit graphics in the game.

As a player who couldn't hold a candle to SCUMP - I would LOVE to play in the same lobby as scump just to see the difference in skill. Im no scrub but he is Jesus and I am a disciple

Literally my 3rd game on the beta yesterday I got matched against Huke, Gunless, and Ricky. Hard to have fun in these kind of lobbies. :/

As a kid, I would see someone with a crazy scoreline, and it would inspire me to be better. These days with SBMM you don't really get to see that anymore so you don't feel any real improvements.

When I was 13 years old the PS2 launched and a game came out for it called Socom 2. Believe me when I tell you that those were the true golden age of online team based shooters.

I’ve bought and played literally every cod. The last good multiplayer was Black Ops 2. The last best single player was Modern Warfare 2019. The best cod of all time is Call of duty 4 Modern Warfare followed by Modern Warfare 2. I love Warzone and think BR is the way forward now though… being playing online gaming since 1999 (Dial up 56k days lol).

I personally just think... it’s a little weird that pros complain that they aren’t playing against bots, but that’s just me. Call of duty has far more issues beyond SBMM.
