In this day and age, where lace front wigs exist it baffles me that the companies destroy their idol's hair like that. Human hair lace front wigs are expensive, yes, but they can be reused many times if well maintained and surely the bigger entertainment companies could afford to get some for at least the idols who bring in lots of money. There are lace front wigs for men too these days.

The reason their hair still looks so beautiful is because they have access to the best hairproducts on the market and have a whole team of hairstylist behind them. Most of them also frequently wear hair extensions, that's how they're able to keep them long and with so much volume.

For most of us, if we bleached our hair so much and so frequently, we would most likely end up losing our hair or at least damage it really bad. It would also take so much money and time to maintain.

Bleaching it from time to time is okay ofc and it's fun to experiment, just idoles really do it a lot

I also suspect that you don't see the damage when on camera ; not as much as in real life, that is. I remember when I had my hair bleached and dyed, it always looked super cool on videos and on photos because you couldn't really see the damage ; but in person it was another story, especially if you tried to touch it.

I think it's cool when idoles wear wigs. It allows them to keep experimenting while giving a break to their natural hair.

Frequent bleaching, root jobs and full
dye jobs damage the scalp not just the hair. It can trigger allergic reactions and scalp sensitivity even later in life! If you add frequent heat styling, hair extensions to fragile stressed hair and scalp, you are looking at potential hair loss and breakage!😮

What upset me is the quality of wigs has changed so much it’s astonishing how amazing and “natural” wigs can look yet kpop still goes with dyeing members hair.

Also there’s some strong ass wig glues out there so dancing wouldn’t be a problem

Hell no she bleached it multiple times a week... bleaching and glossing colour has a signicant diffence 😅
