The push effect on the side of screen is not related to Siri. It’s there from beginning of beta 1 and it’s showing when you push the power or volume buttons. With Siri and without Siri

This is ONLY AVAILABLE ON BETA 1. As of beta 2, it has been patched and does not look like its going to be making a return any time soon.

How can I get that “new siri look”? Im on the ios 18 beta and it shows the regular siri

*1:39 only if you own an iPhone 15 Pro. I’m on iOS 18 beta 2 on my 13 Pro and Siri still looks the way it did it iOS 17 (small colorful orb on the bottom of the screen).

While the sound when activating from the home screen or with voice is new, the sound when activating from the lock screen is not. That lock screen activation sound has been there since iOS 16.
