Fastpass and Maxpass Tips for 2020 - New Fastpass attractions and price increases - Disneyland

Disneyland recently just added Fastpass to several attractions and increased the price of MaxPass. In this video we discuss these updates and tips on how to make the most of Fastpass and MaxPass at Disneyland. I share my personal strategies for hitting the most attractions whether you are using Fastpass or MaxPass while at Disneyland and California Adventure.

BTW the multiple return fastpass only lets you go on rides of similar level. For example if you get one from Indy, you can go on rides like space mountain and Matterhorn but if you get one from splash, you can’t.

I was specifically looking for this information. Thanks for covering it. I have 2 questions. I haven’t been in about 5 years. When I went last they only had the FastPass paper tickets That you would hand to a cast member upon entering the FastPass line. They used to be pretty flexible as far as letting you in earlier or later than your scheduled time. I’m assuming that probably is not the case anymore considering they scan your ticket?

ALSO I remember back when I used to go that to of the rides were not on the same fast pass system as all the other rides so you could get fast passes for these 2 rides regardless of the 2 hour rule. Have you heard about this? Maybe it’s not the case anymore. I think tower of terror was one of them.

Great video, love that you did an updated video with the new fastpass rides listed. We opted out of the park hoppers and used that towards maxpass for the whole family for the whole week. Knowing you can book the 2 shows early in the morning is great and hopefully rise of the resistance is maxpass capable by November. Keep the updates coming!

Great information!!! When I go we use max pass and will hit up rides, but when the lines get longer we start using single rider lines. We also use the app to order food, which gives us more time to ride!

Good morning for the video as we are flying out to Disneyland tomorrow. These tips will help us tremendously. We have Maxpass for the entire week so I am looking forward to doing a lot and this should make the trip even more enjoyable. We do have a dining package for Fantasmic at the Blue Bayou. I am still on the fence as to get a fast pass for World of Color or do a dining package for it. What would be your recommendation? Thanks again for the great videos.

I was wondering about something you said at the beginning of the video about time between being able to reserve fastpasses via maxpass. If I were to book a fastpass for later in the day (like 4 hours in the future for example), I would have to wait until 90 min or 2 h (maximum) until i could book another pass, right? But if my fast pass is in an hour, would I be able to book another fast pass right after using my first fast pass? or do I still need to wait that 90-120 min window?
ALSO, does this mean that you can book fast passes before you have used the first fast pass that you book? Like if i book an afternoon slot at space mountain when i arrive in the morning, after waiting the buffer time of 90-120 min, would I be able to book another fast pass for earlier in the day for a different ride?
Sorry for all the questions - I've only ever been to Disney World before so I have no idea how the Disneyland system works in comparison haha

Fastpass ruined autopia and monsters inc. I went yesterday and the monsters inc stand by was around 40-45 mins and the line did not move at all. We did fastpass and they only moved the fastpass line in

I have a question: if I go to Disneyland early in the morning with a park hopper max pass and I really want to make sure I ride Radiator Spring Racers at night. Am I able to make that selection in the morning or do I have to wait until it gets closer to night time?

Also, can you book another ride via max pass immediately after you get in the fast pass queue for your current ride?
