In my opinion you wouldn't want to be seduced by large outcomes, one should concentrate on the total run. There's really no point in taking large returns with an overall investment going down, I'd say however VOO, SCHD, JPEQ and SCHG. I put down 250k to ETFs. Earning season is around the corner I made a huge breakthrough this time last year with 200k. Handed it to a fin advisor. Curious to see how this ends of year plays out.

Seeing those Intel charts and hearing Josh talk about how it demonstrates the importance of diversifying was a good lesson. Individual investments held long term can go sideways for years or worse. Sometimes they grow but you can't assume that will happen. Thinking about the winners, I'm reminded of a recent Dave Ramsey show caller. She had worked for a tech company years ago but then stopped working to raise a family. When she worked, she bought company stock but by the time she left her investment was down 30% from her cost basis. After years of ignoring it she recently checked and her stock is now worth $18 million! It would seem she worked at Nvidia.
