This is kind of incredible. Sure it's gimmicky but just such a cool little hack. And deconstructing how that all comes together into a flat piece of cardboard is also pretty incredible. Makes my head hurt thinking how that was done!

I was looking for a video on how to make a cardboard device, but you give a guide on how to assemble one. That last thing you said, about the pizza box, can you do that? I mean I know you're supposed to cut a specific pattern and then fold it like you've shown in this video but where the heck do you find the lenses for it, that's my main issue.

You're not supposed to put the rubber band around your head, or around your smartphone (I've seen other people do that too). You just let your phone sit on it (like you did). The rubber band provides friction so that the phone won't slide out.

I bought a blue bigger version cardboard with NFC tag, lenses and so on for my xperia z2! Hope its awesome! :D

You spent 10 seconds on a 2:38 long video on the "How to make" part and the only thing you paused to make note of is "Detach here". You just zoomed past the rest of the "how to make" part straight to the "let's try it now" part.. disappointing!
