Biden unveils landmark submarine deal with Australia and Britain

President Biden and the leaders of Australia and the United Kingdom on Monday announced that Australia will purchase nuclear-powered attack submarines from the U.S. to modernize its fleet amid growing concern about China’s influence in the Indo-Pacific. China views any defensive moves in the Pacific by a country as aggressively offensive to themselves. Australia isn't aggressive but we sure have been worried about China's expansion in the region. China is heavily dependent on Australian resources, especially coal and iron ore, and they are making deals and placing military on island nations close to us. They are also making demands about our media and rights, eg, China told our government to stop our press printing anything negative about China!
