This Arcade Game is a SCAM (I have proof)

Don't feel bad. You don't suck, the game makers do.

Summary: I built a machine to win an arcade game every time that was super accurate. In doing so I accidently discovered that this arcade game is totally rigged.

I make videos like this once a month all year long while supplies last:

I love how gambling is illegal/regulated all over the country. but we allow deceptive fixed gambling to children unregulated.

Same problem with claw games. Usually the claw slips off, making you think it was close. I believe the claw rarely grabs strong enough to pick up anything.

I used to work in an arcade and had one of these things in it. Winning percentages are tracked weekly with the goal of paying out 25 percent in prizes of the revenue those games brought in. I had to track ticket payouts weekly and adjust. The older ones we had to adjust mechanically, but I loved these ones because it was just a matter of changing a setting on the logic board.

I noticed this too when I would try this. I would always be one behind or one ahead. Had no evidence to suggest it was rigged, but this was so consistent for me it made me question if I was being scammed or not.

If you watch in 0.25 speed. The bonus light sometimes doesn’t even light up.

These machines used to have a glitch where you could hold the button down, unplug and plug it back in and it would spit out 150 tickets :) That was back in the 90's, i'm sure they've addressed that by now, but in my youth we definitely cleaned a few of these out....

As a former arcade tech (albeit 20 years ago) I can confirm Cyclone can be set to payout jackpots at variable intervals and also people would stand there with a cup of tokens and just keep plunking them in. Cyclone was one of our top 3 ticket games for my entire 2 years at the arcade and I'm not surprised it still exists to this day. For the record, MOST of our non-skill based (ie not skeeball or basketball) redemption games from that time period had ways of being set to payout jackpots variably.

Well… I like knowing that every time I missed by one as a kid it really meant that I nailed it.

It's so crazy. After you adding the information I had for years, namely him being one of the kids recurring in quite a few of your videos and you having a son, together, I just now realise in how many videos your son is/was having a cameo of some sorts. 😂

To be fair, an arcade is basically a casino for kids. They spend money playing games to try to win jackpots of winnings. And as Mark proves here in an arcade, just like a casino, the house always wins.
