Just my quick review and usage of either the form1+ and form 2 in the dental field - these would be good printers for in-office 3D printing of surgical guides or even digital waxes - I hope you guys enjoyed it

I own a Orthodontics Lab and a Form 2. I have been struggling finding a complete software set that will create the working models that I will use to create the appliances on. What software are you using to create the models and surgical guides before using Prerform to print them out. Thank you for taking the time to make this video.

Thanks for the video. One question, can you actually make an appliance such as an acrylic retainer directly on the Formlabs printed model using the standard polymer/monomer approach? Or do you have to doup and pour?

Dr Marko, why SLA machines for dentistry while you have DLP machines around. SLAs are very very slow for dentistry. It's like going to a drag race with a Toyota Corolla. One quad dental model from 3Shape takes 3- 4 hours with Form 2 in 50 micron layer thickness. ! One bed full of models tale 13+ hours, it's about two working shift while one bed full of models takes 1.5 hours in my DLP machine. Look into DLPs for your process. Cheers
