Washington, DC sister station WDVM-TV (which is licensed to Hagerstown, MD) debuted the new Nexstar NDC-3 graphics on July 11, 2022.

WRIC-TV ABC Channel 8 Sign-On Notice (1995 2nd Version): Good Morning. TV8. WRIC-TV Now Begins Another Day Of Broadcasting. TV8. Petersburg-Richmond, Virginia Is Owned And Operated By Young Broadcasting, Inc. And Telecasts On Television Channel 8 As Authorized By The Federal Communications Commission. Our Studios Are Located At Arboretum Place In Petersburg And We Operate At 269 Kilowatts From Our Transmitter Located At 23 Sesame Street In Richmond. TV8 Now Resumes Broadcasting.

The station was located in Petersburg at 230 S. Crater Rd. when they were WXEX. The STL microwave tower is still there behind the building. They changed call letters to WRIC when they moved to Chesterfield County in 1990, but the station is still licensed to Petersburg so they ID as "WRIC Petersburg/Richmond".

R.I.P Lisa Schaffner who was at the station for 20plus years was iconic in the market and at the station.

Chip Tarketon & Jon Bernier both been there for years.
