These two Super 8 films of a trip round Venezuela in 1995 recently resurfaced after years languishing in the loft. The first movie captures some of the scenes we encountered on a trip to the fishing village and beach of Puerto Colombia (Choroni) and a boat ride to the historical cocoa plantation of Chuao. The second movie sees us down in the far south of Venezuela, in the so-called Lost World of table-top mountains, the tea-colored waters of Canaima Lagoon and a trip by dugout to the base of Angel Falls (Salto Angel), the highest waterfall in the world.
