I’m glad I’m not the only one dealing with this. I’ve always noticed this clear attempt by Crowder, Prager U, Shapiro, etc… appearing in ads exclusively before left/center leaning videos.

I watch a lot of leftwing and centrist content on YouTube and yet the algorithm will push right wing content and i always get ads before videos about the stop the steal movement and right wing political ads. It seriously hurts when the right claims there's a bias against them when even leftwing content makes you watch right wing crap before you can even see any of it

I think part of the problem is, despite the obviously extreme views of various right wing content creators, they aren’t flagged as such by any algorithm. It’s only seen as “political” content, just like Pakman/Seder who have much more tame stances on the issues. There’s no difference, in the eyes of the Algorithm, it’s all just “politics”. Normalizing extremism, basically.

I often get bombarded by right wing announcements when watching any of the Independent News organizations including your show. In the last 3 months some have become more Insidious pretending to be left wing but when I research the organization and I look up who owns it it's often times owned by right wing establishments. In three cases they were owned by Sinclair enterprises, the mercers and in one the Koch brothers which all are right-wing organizations

Absolutely. Doesn't matter how many years in a row I only ever consume lefty content, even with YouTube Premium getting rid of ads, YouTube is always trying to sneak right-wing stuff into my feed. So irritating.

Just as I clicked this, I got a cringey Rightwing Ad asking me to sign a petition to “Secure our elections” from Leftwing/Democrat Election fraud. Its either a conscious effort or irresponsibility.

Think about which type of group is more “dogmatic.” Who’s more prone to reliably consume content? There’s a reason Fox News shows are #1.
