My theory is that a nitwit villager is exiled from a village and traveled far until he passed out in a snow biome and someone took him in ( The Person who made the igloos ) and experiment on him about turning zombie villagers back to normal but the experiment back fired and revived making him strong and smarter but dead. He want revenge so he secretly recruit bullied nitwit from the villagers and they found out about the betray of the witch and took her in and now their allies and make totems and etc.

My theory is

Making the legendary plains biome

There are many smithers

Taking down forests each day.

1 out of 3 smithers work for he forestry devastation

The villagers now has a choice

Once the vindicators lost their jobs
They took their axes which is what they were selling
Last time they were in duty of selling

Once the Vindicators made home
But zombies
Took control and destroyed their houses

skeletons and zombies and also creepers

They upgraded their mansions

And the villagers think their Iron golems were killed by
Zombies skeletons or enderman

When a Pillagers crossbow is destroyed
We never see the villagers get punched or attacked
They will still stand idle or walking around.

The clerics called themselves

They upgraded the giant mansion

Filled with long lost hidden Loots

And plans to get to the end and explore more.

Thats why they tried to make an ender portal that doesnt work

Their sins are now permanently equipped
To their bodies.

But the evokers think it can be domesticated
Like the gray creatures do

And it had lost its eye
Therefore going blind

And the evokers ran to it and gave it meat bones or wheat

But it roared destroying the Evokers ears
And then crushing him

The survivors escaped that cave along with the surviving Ravagers

Not exactly the pillagers are just like villagers, but they were betrayed and stuff because of the villagers in their whack and try to kill pillagers and pillagers join the Hilgers

- Witch- Support for the Illagers (Probably they got paid to work for them.)
- Evoker- The leader and the high command of all illagers.

I mean villagers can make bottles of enchanting, enchanted diamond tools and armour, tipped arrows, iron golems and almost all food items. they are also the only mob capable of fully understanding trade and the only mob that can communicate with each other. i think the illigers do come from villagers but maybe they are just hostile and power hungry. that would also explain why they were kicked out of the villages

Since In dungeons they kicked out the arch illager and he became an insane king

the pillagers were most likely hunters for the village but out casted for being pocheres (it matches and I'm sticking with that)

and the evokers were the villagers in purple robes but after being cought practicing magic they were chased out by the iorn golem since witches are also not allowed in the village for their magic since the 1st witch cursed the weather makeing lightning turn villagers into witches

the reason why the purple robed villagers mess with redstone is so they too could advance since redstone builds are everywhere in the game but left abandoned like the ancient city if you go inside the portal frame

the most popular theory for The Vendactors is that their villagers that have been experimented on with lapis lazuli to become the evokers royal guards

since they can be found in the woodland mansion

my theory for the ravagers is that their also experimented villagers morphed and deformed into a battle beast since their is no way to craft it like the iorn golem/snow golem and wither

the totem of Undyen would be made by melting down iorn golems into gold for the totems body and XP and soul magic for the eyes and function of the totem

Vex's are obviously ally's turned evil and absorbed by the evoker so they can release them to be their ghost soldiers

Ravagers: war beast

banner pillagers: raid captain (since raids only happen if you kill the captain and get the bad oemen)
