Only factor making Canada "not European" is geography.

The languages spoken in Canada are certainly European.
The Canadian political system is inherently European. (I mean, the seat of their King is literally situated in Europe)
Canadian culture is (obviously) heavily influenced by American culture, but they culturally undoubtedly more European than yanks.

I would be more than happy to welcome our Canadian brothers and sisters into the union should the Canadian people wish to join!

Europe is a continent, the European Union (EU) is a political union. Canada can definitely join our political union if they wish.

100% Canada joining would be good in my opinion, free trade and travel with Canada would be great for the EU given Canada's energy and timber. In addition I feel culture is similar and Canadians would be welcomed in EU countries

I think that most Canadians and EU citizens would welcome the idea of Canada in the EU so any obstacles should be ironed out asap.

“Europe” has always been an artificial construct to begin with. We treat Europe and Asia as two separate continents for purely cultural and historical reasons, geographically they are literally a single contiguous chunk of land. What really matters in the EU is its shared values and common cultural ancestry, which Canada is entirely compatible with. Both sides would benefit a lot from Canada joining the EU.

I hope so, Canada is the most European country outside Europe, also Canada is just as rich and developed as the rest of Europe, they also have a European culture and genealogy...

Canada clearly has historical ties to Europe, I don't even see that as debatable.

Culturally, Europe is already very diverse. Think of the differences between Romania, Sweden, and Portugal. But I think we can agree that Canada and Europe have a lot of shared values, and Canada fits.
