Its because in the battle gyoko explains that there were fish shooting needles at him and that he’d die but his flash back gave him a demon slayer mark and he could defeat gyoko but after the mark disappeared he got very weak from the poison and due to that he fainted and the other was basically the same thing he was still weak from that so onece he got hit on the head by haganeska he was to weak to Handel it and passed out again… so there you go

Muzan travels at the speed of light right next to Haganezuka and strikes him again slicing his head off cause there ain’t no stinkin way Haganezuka would beat Muzan, ya thought you would have me describing a long epic fight between Muzan and Haganezuka.
