Carnival Mardi Gras Deck Tour (2019)

A deck tour of Carnival Mardi Gras, Carnival Cruise Line's upcoming mega-ship that is due out in the summer of 2020. This will be Carnival's largest ship to date weighing in at 180,000-tons and will carry over 6,000 guests.

Mardi Gras will have a neighborhood concept offering six distinct zones or areas. Grand Central (atrium), French Quarter (New Orleans), La Piazza (Italian), Lido (buffet and pool), Summer Landing (relaxing and BBQ) and Ultimate Fun (featuring BOLT roller coaster).

The ship will homeport in Port Canaveral, Florida, but not before making a couple cruises out of Northern Europe and New York City. Once homeported in Florida, Mardi Gras will sail alternating Eastern and Western Caribbean cruises.

There will be over 20 categories of staterooms on Carnival Mardi Gras so there will be a cabin type for every type of cruiser you are. Havana cabins, Family Harbor rooms, and Spa Suites make many of the categories of staterooms offered on the ship.

Bookings opened for this ship in January 2019.

I love Carnival Madi Gras I have a Toga at Sea group November 21-28, 2020. It's over Thanksgiving holiday and we're excited.

We were booked for Feb of 2021 and took a refund once it was cancelled. HOWEVER after looking at different ships/itineraries to book for feb 2022 I just couldn’t find anything I wanted to sail on more than Mardi Gras so we’re back on!! First time with carnival - only sailed Disney prior. Really looking forward to it - not told any of the family were going so it will be a MAJOR surprise! Great vlog - very useful in upping the excitement levels
