The way to solve this problem is by detaching the tiny which is on the part that connects to the camera. Over time the screw becomes magnetized and interrupts the signal. That´s the origin of the problem. Removing that screw solves the problem.

hello! this feature is not working on my ef-m1 and lumix g7. BUT i solved this by reflashing upon Win10. MacOS and WinXP – no result.

Hi, just bought my EF-M1, got the same kit ( GH5 firmware 2.3, Sigma 18-35 ) it's not working for me :( ... still same problem Lens attachement failed without that tiny screw any help ? thanks

That adapter looks like it has a glass element ef m1 hasn't are my eyes deceiving me ?....

на metabones и ехарном gh5s ни хера этот болт не касается и ниче не активирует, и он такой мелкий и немагнитный, что хер его обратно ввернешь.
лучше просто повернуть объектос в байонете на несколько градусов.
Panasonic Lumix - дермище, в очередной раз убеждаюсь.
