I have been a fan of Mr. Hamilton for several years, but, I found the “Glimpse” on my own! And I thought the shout out was a classy move. So have a cold one, you’ve earned it!

Have been a subscriber to both you and Stumpy for a while. Both of you have given me many valuable tips.As a retired automotive products designer I have been enjoying making crafts with my laser, CNCs, 3d printers and wood shop tools. They all complement each other in getting projects done.

As one of those viewers sent by Stumpy Nubs, I would also like to thank him!

At the opposite end of the spectrum you have bushcrafters who make everything from shelters to kitchen utensils from fallen deadwood with a knife and axe. Some would think this requires no skill until you attempt to build something this way. CNC has the reputation that the machine does everything for you but any knowledgeable woodworker knows that the setup is the key to success. Even something as basic as a hand plane has many dimensions to consider to make it work efficiently.

Nice little project. I'm glad the shout out from Stumpy got you more subs.

I don't have any Festool products and I might never own one but the thing I love about video's like this is that it gets people thinking "How can I fix this so it doesn't get thrown away?". I try to fix pretty much anything and everything and it used to be that I just couldn't afford to replace things but having that bit of spare cash at the moment when I could just buy a new kettle as it has a dodgy lead, I either spend some of the money on parts or as I have a whole box of computer power cables just waiting to go, I can spend it on something fun like taking my daughter swimming 😊👍👍👍 Please use this video as inspiration to start having a go at repairing and only fix electrical components if you already know what you are doing 😅

I am a machinist for the US Guvment, and I run CNC stuff a LOT!!! I WISH I could afford a GOOD CNC router for my wood hobby, but probably never will...I always envy the guys who are able to go for it and use them, because I DO know what can be done and it is incredible. I DID buy my wife a commercial embroidery machine, and it is basically a cnc machine, and it is just a delight to sit and watch it sew things out. Thanks for all your tips and tricks, if I can call them that...

For those of us that have a hard time using a "Smart" phone, the CNC is beyond the scope of reality. Not only is the technology beyond anything I can comprehend, the cost is nowhere remotely what a weekend home woodworker can justify. I like machinery but the CNC is way beyond me.
I am also a new subscriber via Stumpy Nubbs. Always enjoy makers with heart and verve.

Great video. I like your solution.
Years ago, I added a small dust separator to my Festool CT 22. I cut a sheet of plywood in the shape of the systainer feet and screwed the dust bucket to the plywood. I can't store systainers on the CT, but the filter bags last forever.

Hi Chris..I'm one of the new subs directed over from Stumpy. So glad he mentioned you and your story is amazing. I was instantly hooked by you positive attitude and personality. Love that your kids have cameos and the dust collection / heavy bag made me laugh when your daughter came in and started to whale away like Mohammed Ali.. Also found you on Instagram and immediately followed. Your projects are great and I've binged a few videos. Love the French cleat wall and hope to do the same with my small garage set up. Anyway as long as you are making videos I will be checking them all out. Have a blessed day.

I'll be honest, I had seen a couple of your videos, but when Mr. Hamilton called you out, I made it a point to come see what was up. I then subscribed. I love seeing the kids in the videos. I love your positive attitude.

I had already seen your great video on French cleats before Stumpy talked about it so I knew the quality of your work. So, yes it was great that he acknowledged your insights. He has mentioned other woodworkers in his videos before. I found Rob Cosman thanks to James talking about Rob's method for dovetails. I subscribe to quite a lot of YouTube channels so didn't really need to add anymore, But I have subscribed to your channel, you deserve to become better known. Thanks for everything so far. Looking forward to the Drill Press cabinet coming up,

I’m really glad James did a shout out for you. I really enjoy your demeanor. Or maybe just you personally! I’m enjoying your content.

Woodworking is kind of a sport if you look at it as “Man vs Wood”. Sometimes man makes wood submit to becoming a beautifully crafted project. Sometimes wood won’t cooperate and twists and bows to defeat you. Keep making sawdust and God Bless.

Stumpy is one of my favorite woodworker, and indeed the one who brought me to your channel. Keep going buddy. Love you!

Found your channel via James, and I’m glad he pointed me towards you. I’ve watched a lot of your content, and enjoyed it!

Back in the day, I would have made a crack about how nice it would be to afford Festool stuff, but I’ve learned not too. A lot of average guys pay that premium for the quality. To each his own! Cheers…
