Sadly I lost my brand loyalty to xiaomi months ago! They always go deadboot 😭 imagine the heat this one produces while charging ⚡ its a nice smartphone tho by specs! Actually Redmi Note 12 Explorer is a good phone. It has 200 MP Camera with OIS for rear main camera, good stereo speakers, 210 Watt ultra fast charging speed. Good Job Mr Han 👍👍

A very good and fair review with great points made. I think the 120w note12 pro+ option is better value as it's about $40 cheaper and has a bigger battery (5000mAh). The disappointing thing for me is that there was no eis at 4k on the pro and pro+ when I tried them. Overall, the regular Xiaomi 12 pro is the most competitive of the bunch price wise. The pro+ and explorer edition are not bad but they are in the same price category where you can get phones with much more powerful chipsets that have better ISPs than the dimensity 1080 (e.g. Realme gt neo 3 and Moto s30 pro. Even the Realme gt2 pro was available for this price last week but that was a special double 11 deal). Overall, I like this series though as I don't game and am most concerned with main sensor camera performance and I think that is what Redmi has focused on this time. If they add 4k eis to the pro and pro+ with an update I think they would be good options for non power users but have no idea if they plan to do that

do imx766 vs hmx camera comparison, i have seen some samples and the hmx sensor doesnt look good even worse in some photos, all of us want to get this phone because of the camera but not sure if the extra money are worth for that 200mp sensor

A very interesting evaluation of its gaming performance. Particularly liked the objective comparison with the Honor Magic. I think many of us won't be all that tempted by the super fast charger, because this appears to be at the expense of battery capacity. The build quality seems premium: a metal frame and buttons as opposed to plastic makes it very attractive in this respect and the 3.5mm headphone jack may well be a deal breaker for those with expensive, studio quality, wired headphones. For me, I'd want to know a lot more about camera performance. Many low prices mid range phones offer 108mp main cameras, and it would be interesting to compare this camera with the 108mp camera on the Redmi Note 10 Pro Plus, which costs less than half the price, but offers a much better macro camera. When zooming in on the main cameras, is the difference in practice as grest as what we might expect in theory, bassed on the much higher resolution the 200mp sensor offers? Up to 3x zoom is very important to most of us. I note that the Honor Magic 4 has a 64mp, 3.5x, prism periscope camera. A comparison of photos taken when zooming in with this camera, would be interesting. Theoretically, the Honor Magic 4 should be a lot better, but is it? Another interesting comparison would be with the Google Pixel 7 Pro's camera. A comparison with the Samsung S22 x3 telephoto camera, when zoomed in to 3x would also be interesting, and if you've got a Realme X3 Superzoom, that would make an interesting comparison as well, because it has a X5 prism periscope camera. The 200mp camera of the Xiomi would be expected to give much better results right the way through, despite if not having this feature, but does it?
