This is insanely accurate.
Teachers don't give a fuck, and the ones that due usually give up at a point.
I remember having a teacher in 4th grade who told me she knows I'm smart and doesn't understand why I just coast by doing absolutely nothing and never even trying.
I told her what's the point, I can pass by fucking off, why even try?
She ended up giving me some tests to see where I was at, intellectually, just for her own curiosity.
I was at the highest reading level she could test and that's about all I can remember because she wasn't interested too much after that.
She more or less was like "I fucking knew it"
Mrs. Transue was one of the only teachers that actually cared, and she fucking died of cancer a few years later. 😔
