We set off from State Dock Marina and immediately fell in love with the feeling of being on the water. We took our houseboat rental for a test drive in the main channel, getting a feel for the boat and taking in the gorgeous views. From there, we set out to explore some of the lake's most beautiful spots for houseboating.

Indian Creek, Otter Creek, and Beaver Creek all had something special to offer, from stunning waterfalls to peaceful coves perfect for swimming and fishing. We even got to see the famous Seventy Six Falls up close, which was an incredible sight to behold.

But perhaps the best part of our houseboat vacation was finding the perfect spot to camp for several days. We settled in at a peaceful cove, where we spent our days fishing and exploring the shores, and our nights relaxing by the fire pit on the top deck of our houseboat.

And cruising around Lake Cumberland was an adventure all on its own. With miles of shoreline to explore and breathtaking scenery at every turn, we couldn't get enough of the feeling of being out on the water.

This is a good learning video for me. I grew up sailing on Carlyle Lake in Eastern Illinois. Never did much water time without sales. However, we've been renting pontoon boats on Table Rock Lake in the Ozarks and this is a little bit like what you guys do but in microcosm. I think I could live on your boat all four seasons. My wife? No way. So I am houseboating vicariously through this channel. Keep of the good work.
