I agree, Awakening is not only my favorite RPG game on the 3DS, but tbh I think it has become my #1 game of all time. I still play it almost every day.

I own Rune Factory 4, Pokemon Y, and Fire Emblem Awakening, and I can say I love all three so much, especially Rune Factory 4 and Fire Emblem. <3

I was surprised Rune Factory 4 made the list cause its so underrated. Great fast paced battle sequence, likeable characters, compelling story, and great music just makes it do much better.

fire emblem awakening is seriously a great game. the missions are the right balance of fun and challenging so nothing is frustrating and the characters are super interesting + the story line is pretty good.  it's definitely earned the #1 spot (in my opinion :P) and it's also a good game to get into if you are just discovering rpg's.

Fire Emblem Awakening is the best RPG and the best game on 3DS as a whole. cant wait til' Fates is released in english

Bravely Default is crazy good, I got it this Christmas and words can't describe how addicted I am. I wish I had more time to finish the game, and finish Alpha Sapphire too XD so I STRONGLY recommend Bravely Default, it's what got me into RPG games, so now I'm going to play two of the games mentioned on here; I'm gonna follow you guys for some more. I've been needing a channel like this!

Amazing list! I like how you didnt include OoT as its a remix and it would take away from giving a new game (non remake) credit. Also enjoy the ranking system and how you include the statistics as well. This list also seemed very accurate although I have yet to try all of these games save Pokemon X, which I own. This adds a major want level to Fire Emblem Awakening to the hype I already had before! I was wondering if Animal Crossing is considered an RPG or just a simulator game. You earned a sub!

I freaking called it!! FE: Awakening was so good it inspired my girlfriend - who hated Final Fantasy Tactics, by the way - to play it THREE TIMES! It's a seriously awesome game and the dub team did a masterful job bringing it over.

Shin Megami Tensei, Fire Emblem Awakening for me were incredible I played bravery default for a while but it eventually got stale for me

I've been searching for the last 30 minutes for a list about best nintendo (or 3ds) games that had FE:A at number 1, because it's my favorite game of all time. But wouldn't this also mean that Pokemon Y and FE:A are tied for 1st place?
