Here's Why Lucas' Solo Debut Did NOT Go Well!

Former member of NCT and WayV, Lucas, has recently debuted as a soloist but his debut felt underwhelming and to some it looks it completely flopped. So what exactly happened and why did it do so badly?

Maybe because you cant be absolutely absent from the industry for 2 years and expect no impact on sales?? And not to forget that mist of his IG popularity comes from international fans, not SK or China, and it defenitely has impact on sales!!! All in all, Lucas should continue being active, i hope SM will learn from their own mistakes, we fans will support him no matter what!

I personally loved his debut song and I don't think he flopped and maybe some people might be not liking it because his new album came after documentary but I'm completely fine with it

"He wasn't affected by it" Man was literally forced left one of the biggest kpop groups and suffered mentally for 6 months and more!???? Can't we just forget his scandal now!?Even he himself forgot his past so why are we bringing those scandals now? He is happy now and people who genuinely love him will support him till the end. He was on hiatus for 3 years he was literally inactive with no news about him at all, you can’t compare this to ppl who are active in their groups + going solo in between comebacks + doing multiple high profile interviews/variety shows/magazine covers & interviews.., he’s doing really well considering everything + he’s not doing any promotions as well, just the music shows which is bare minimum promotion. Give Lucas some slack, they’re making him come back slowly, he’s doing really well, his fans love him and support him, and he’ll continue to grow.

So I think the company are focusing on LUCAS rather then his album doing better. I mean after a HUGE scandal lucas came back on stage after 3 FREAKING YEARS so obviously promoting him a lot will be exhausting for him. He's trying to get back up so maybe they are taking it slow.
N also Renegade is a song that was more personal rather than the song being marketed to be one of the best sellers.
I think the company wants to take it slow with lucas coz it seems even with one fan supporting him he'd be very grateful and thankful from them. This could also mean that they are trying to build a healthy fandom that ACTUALLY supports him and be there for him.

And also personally I think its nly better for lucas to promote less n not be so popular for the time being. You can see that his true fans are with him and supporting him who just want to see lucas happy and at peace again. Taking it slow is the right thing to do ryt now coz he is healing.

Personally I listened to his album and waited for him eagerly with one reason being the documentary so I think that was good move.

First off Renegade is a BOP, Second he can sing and rap amazingly, Third He can dance his heart out. I bet in the next month or two those chart numbers for his new album will go up. Plus his debut as a soloist just started in the beginning of April, and we are still in this month so its insane to expect him to have higher numbers right now. And another thing I believe he's innocent, and SM failed to protect this man, he was stalked, verbally Harassed and he didn't even know who that Super Fan was. If I were Lucas I would've went to a different company. And the most frustrating part was SM made him apologize when he didn't do anything.
