OWON B35T review useless after light use for 5 month's.

I purchased this meter & when it first arrived it was brilliant! Then out of nowhere it wouldn't show up on bluetooth, so I reinstalled the software fitted fresh batteries & still nothing registering on the multimeter app? It no longer even transmitted bluetooth? One minute it worked was put away in its more than adequate storage then all of a sudden...... Also it started switching to temp when in ohms setting & vice versa & around an hour after making this video I tested a machine in AC voltage mode & it blew up... Dead.... Luckily I was in the workshop and not on site as I would have looked pretty stupid tripping out a customers production line... Imagine that! I work for some of the country's leading aerospace & defence contractors & standing there with a fried meter in my hand saying sorry but my equipment tripped your RCD'S just wouldn't have come across well, to say the least...& before you think of it yes all my kit is fluke top of the line, and I just liked this meter, Anyway my point is owon can make good equipment also the bluetooth feature is brilliant when it worked. They just need to step up quality a bit & they could make amazing kit & I wouldn't mind paying a bit more for it. I've had one owon scope meter before & it was fine apart from not reading ohms at all & that was straight out of the box, but I purchased that one from China & was only interested in the scope so it didn't bother me. However it's little things like this that seem to put owon into the budget hobbyist sector in my eyes even though they come out with ideas like the bluetooth data logging before fluke came out with their fluke connect system which I've not looked into properly, I may have to start unless owon pull their finger out & step things up with this meter. Anyway that's my view I'm sending mine back as they have a 3 year warranty so I'll let you know how that goes.

crapy meter indeed, has similar problem, but luckily it was purchased at local retail so after return it was fully refunded. So no more "Owon" :) at least as meter
