Whenever I've travelled to other countries, at first, I didn't take into account that prescription & OTC meds may not have the same names as those in the U.S. Bringing an extra supply of meds with me eliminates confusion if I'm delayed by unforeseeable events.

I think one that we have experienced is that as soon as the locals noticed you are a foreigner the price goes up. And people will take advantage of you, everyone has a story to get money out of you. Don't trust people, no matter how trusty worthy they seem. Watch out for yourself and be aware of your surrounding at all times.

Lesson learned….left Kuala Lumpur yesterday after 26 days now heading to DaNang Vietnam. Get to the airport and I find out I need a Visa! Long story short I had to pay for an expedited (costly) Visa! Thanks Rob and Allie for all you do and YES I had my Health Screening at Gleneagles Hospital🥳

Healthcare: i belong to one of the biggest networks in Minnesota and it's going to take me 2 months to see an ear nose throat doctor.

Timing is important traveling to foreign destinations. Aruba in summer months is much more affordable than winter months. I visited there in August 2019 with great Airbnb options and fewer tourists.

Yeah, medical bills are no joke here in the US. Over $70k so far for my cancer diagnosis. Hopefully only a couple thousand out of pocket for me but time will tell. Then the cost of the treatment comes after all that. Ugh. As soon as I get that sorted I am going to buy the courses. In the meantime I am doing some video of the cancer process and hopefully be able to string something together on that of my experience and put on on YT.

I live in NYC and tried to make an appointment yesterday (July 31) for a mammogram and related sonogram. Next available appointment: Jan 30th. I should fly to Thailand to get it done!

My father has recently had a TIA (mini stroke) and it has been challenging for us to even do the traveling we already have on the books. God's plans... not always the same as our plans.

Good content and a fellow youtuber on real estate in the us. Are you still working. Also, how can we reach out for a list of the places that safety may be a concern. I spent time in the Philippians, Thailand, Panama and Columbia. Columbia seemed to make me a little nervous for sure.

Hey! Where is the cruise info for November? I know its just for the course communities but I can't join until I finish up another course I'm taking but I think I might want to go. Prepping house for the market and selling everything else (which is hard) so many people calling with absolutely no intent to buy but have too much time on their hands🙄

Hey Rob and Allie I’m here in Bangkok staying at the XT Phayathai condos. I’m here until 31 Aug if there is a day you aren’t too busy maybe we can get together for a drink and/or grab a bite to eat. I just started my slow travels last month. Safe travels

Also, you shouldn't trust travel agents to tell you whether or not you need visas. Trust me, it happened to us and had to fly back home and quickly get a visa for the following week.

When you are visiting foreign countries do you tip in restaurants if the natives there do not?
