Just a lil pro advise. The slower you go with these type of machines the better they work. Always use an after treatment of 1% to 3% mix of sodium hydrochloride and water. You can apply with a pump sprayer. Then do a final rinse.

Quick question..I have an 2.5 gpm pressure washer, but the surface cleaner I ordered is 4.5 gpm. Is that a problem? And should I return it?

I have an important question. I purchased a 4400psi at 4.2gpm PW. I then purchased an Eveage 16.5” surface cleaner because on the website it says it can handle up to 4500psi.

I got the Eveage but it states on the unit and the manual 4000psi max. Now I may have a problem. But would it be alright given that PW’s put out less psi when engaged? I hope I don’t have to return this surface cleaner.

Yikes! What is the drop off distance where the deck is missing its railing? In the US it can't be more than 30 inches above grade level to meet code. *Sorry but I would be remise if I didn't say something and somebody got seriously hurt or worse.

How many psi and gpm is your pressure washer

OH MY... remove at least one of the extensions = it makes it a lot easier to move the surface cleaner around . Do a north/south pass and then a east/west pass with the surface washer ... then use a TURBO TIP to wash everything away !

2 things:

That surface cleaner is too large for the unit you are running. You want 4 inches per gallon per minute. You are running under 4gpm. Should stick to a 12 inch one. Also, don’t use it on a deck. The only reason you didn’t ruin this deck is because the surface cleaner is under pressured because it’s too big. Surface cleaners are meant for concrete, not wood. It will etch the wood with bigger machines.
