The fact that he's missing completely from the infamous rock star size chart (based on groupie descriptions), unlike all his other band members, says it all! If there were stories they would absolutely be there.
Knowing that Joe is above the exploitative groupie thing just makes him more awesome, definitely the epitome of rock n roll class.

That's because Joe Perry has always had class. Still does.

I read Joe’s memoir and was completely and utterly shocked … at what a decent and thoroughly likable man he is. How did someone with this much integrity make it in rock ‘n’ roll? One word: talent.

I agree. Joe Perry has class and is very respectful of others

I had the strongest crush on Joe Perry when I was in high school at 15 or so. I would always try to style my hair like him, even wanted to start collecting guitars like he did but was not in my budget, LOL. Anyway, he was a real idol of mine, and I'm SO glad he didn't get himself mixed up with groupies - it's something I always wondered about. I always thought it would be something that just comes with that kind of life, since they did drugs after all, so what's not to say they can't do a few groupies too?

But I'm glad to know he stayed away from it. He's a real class act!

Back in something like 88 Joe Perry, Steven Tyler, and Joey Kramer worked out at my gym in San Francisco's Hotel Nikko for a couple of days. Nicest guys ever. Steven was extraordinarily outgoing signing autographs for everyone who asked. Joe was quiet and just wanted to workout. Joey was smiling and taking it all in. Was really cool to see what the guys in the arguably the biggest and most successful American rock and roll band were like -- especially since they came across as really good, regular guys.

In the movie The Decline of Western Civilization Part 2, director Penelope Spheeris asks Joe and Steve what they think about groupies, Steve says 'I love 'em' and Joe says 'Amazing, they're a part of the lifestyle (or something to that effect). Also, an 80s groupie who wrote a book claims to have had an encounter with him. Maybe he just didn't have lots of groupies and was very picky.

The first guitarist for Aerosmith before Brad Whitford ... was Ray Tabano.

Joe is in his 60s but the dude still looks like he's in his early 40s.
