My grandmother used to get us socks for Christmas and she'd feel bad about it because it's all she could afford. Thing was I looked forward to getting them but I'm not sure she believed me.
I kept the last ones unopened for years until the wrapping paper finally fell apart before giving in and wearing them.

I got pretty upset a few years ago bc no one got me

My mom will randomly text me saying “I bought you these really cute socks the other day!” Because she knows I go apeshit for socks. I love them. They’re like hugs for your feet and one of the little joys in life.

Bro, mine too. Always has been. I love all types of different socks. That is by far one of the most comforting gifts someone can give that last all day and all, and you can quickly change them out for a fresh new pair whenever you want, too! Socks rule!
