Retaining the original tones and features, METEOR II features a channel-switching Footswitch, 2 channels can be adjusted independently, so you have better control over the volume of the CLEAN channel and DISTORTION channel, and adjust their GAIN and TONE respectively too! Well, METEOR II is definitely a better choice for musicians who love to perform with BanTamP series!

Props for actually doing a sick slipknot-ish metal demo for the product, when some other manufacturers would have had some guy playing blues licks on a 335

I have an XL Meteor II and I love it. Needs an EQ pedal in the loop and a boost or OD in front to truly shine, but once you have that, the sky is the limit. With Joyo, GuitarFetish, Caline, and DemonFX pedals giving some stellar oomph without the need to fork a lot of coin, and the fact you can run the headphone out into a DI box and put IR's on it in your DAW just makes it that much more easily recommended. If you need more juice, grab a rack mount power amp. If you grab two different BanTamP XL amps, an OD or boost pedal, a stereo cab, and an A/B/Y pedal, whoo, you got serious options!

NICE! Looking for something with less gain than the Zombie but more/tighter than the Zombie... is this it?!!?

I only play at home and have no cab. Does it go only using headphones out?. I mean (Guitar, pedals, amp, headphones). No cab, no pc, no interface....only headphones. Thanks.

The amp is expensive; the tone does not sounds average; & the name? Really? JOYO? Yoko Ono would be tolerable to a fault.
