Not bad. I just wish they had a corded one. I don't mind corded tools, sometimes worrying about batteries, chargers, and time of use is a pain

I’ve have had the sealey tool battery DA for months, cost around £60-70. Doesn’t replace the electric or air da but good addition.

I just switched to the m12 line. This is amazing. Thanks for sharing .

I guess there would be some situations for these things but I feel like electric corded would be the way to go for these... though I guess battery powered are all we get these days....

I use the Milwaukee M18 random orbit palm sander - that has a 3/32 orbit and a 5" pad. It's a workhorse, haven't seen a need for corded or air sanders since getting it, just keep an extra battery charging. Wondering if I should pick up the 3/16 one when it's available.

How's it going Brian? Funny thing, just a couple of days ago I was researching corded and cordless DA sanders. And then your video popped up. This definitely looks like the route I'd take. I checked Milwaukee's website and it looks like these units aren't available for sale just yet. I saw you and couple of other Youtubers get some early pre-released units.
Quick question for you: Did you have to reach out to Milwaukee to inquire about these DAs? Or did they reach out to you with an offer to try out these new models and get them showcased on your channel?

I use Mirka electric Da sander and wouldn’t go back to air powered DA sanders they’re too noisy and sucks all the air out of the compressor

This is sweet. Normally when you use a brand of tools, you usually have more batteries available. The Milwaukee batteries last for a long time.

I switch to electric anytime I can, my shop is in a rural area so I don't like it when the compressor kicks on and scares off the deer roaming around my shop. Not to mention my dust collector turns on when the sander runs so my little body shop stays clean.

Need more information. Are they 5" or 6", what are the threads on the backing pad? 5/16"-24? Random orbit? Variable speed on the paddle?

I love all my milwaukee construction tools however haven’t made the move for auto work. I do have their m12 die grinder and after good use the battery drains too quick.

This is definitely a great option for those of us using smaller compressors.

Looking forward to seeing your review on it. Hopefully you can make a review on the Milwaukie battery spray gun also.

I switched to electric da about 5 years ago never going back... I will say a rotary da powered by air CUTS FILLER FAST ! but simply put, I don't feel like listing to a air compressor all day and also air sanders reduce the life of your compressor easily by 30% . I use my compressor for PAINT ONLY

Big air has not been needed for YEARS for tools. For paint, still needed.

Cute toy, I was running 15gpm almost continuously yesterday, from an 80 gallon 240VAC compressor, using my palm sander to strip a rusty hood. 😂

Why can’t/don’t you use a random orbit sander?
