Never. Never ever play like this. It's not even playing a guitar you're playing a single string. Jeez man. If you wanna be a beginner for the rest of your life, sure go ahead and play one string. But if you actually want to play. Never watch these tutorials, and never play them. They mess with your conception of how a guitars supposed to be played. So when you try out another song you'll be stuck and now know what to do with the other strings and your other fingers.
