The Beautiful World of Creative Industries

Are future students aware of what a potential course in Creative Industries can offer? How can we possibly demonstrate this in an engaging and informative way?

'The Beautiful World of Creative Industries' is a short documentary by graphic/ motion designer D.Gabriele Mockute, made as Final Major Project piece for CASS (Sir John Cass Faculty of Art, Architecture and Design, London Metropolitan University).

Gabriele investigates the problem of potential students not visualising what it feels like to study in a certain sector. There are various online videos presenting studios in educational institutions, however, they are often ambiguous and feel rehearsed.

Open days are a great way to explore these creative environments but they are infrequent and can require travelling long distances.

Blending cinematographic footage and motion graphics, Gabriele's aim is to introduce future students to Creative Industries in a compelling way by capturing real scenes from daily students' routine.
