I guess this was to be a series about the Warring States Period. Since this and the last video are both great, please continue on this series.

Loving this series. Hope you continue with it. An episode on Chu I think would be especially interesting.

I am glad you spoke about Wu Qi, and mentioned his work and that much of it is lost. Archeologists working with historians and multiple universities in the US and Europe may have just recently discovered a new technique to scan writing from scrolls too fragile to be unrolled, and then can virtually unroll these scrolls. It has been shown to work on vellum, parchment, and papyrus, and studies on bamboo scrolls using a technique developed from it have just begun. Probably as I write this, there are multiple studies in China and neighboring countries (probably Taiwan as well given how many historical artifacts went with Chang's army south) scanning scrolls which have never been unrolled. The oldest of which are claimed to be from something like the middle Zhou, so late Spring and Autumn or early Warring States.
We may honestly have more Livy, and Wu Qi, and late Yayoi missives, and more in the next 20 years. The people working on things in the West based on this technology are also trying to apply it to things we know were written on, scraped, and used again.

Feel sorry for the sacrificed girl. Not only was she forced to drown in a river but the shaman had to die with her because they said she wasn't pretty enough. How cruel
