Remeber, she _"Doesn't mean to be patronising"_

It just comes naturally to her.

The cheek of Jenrick asking for more prisons to be built. I'm sure he was in government fairly recently?

1 minute thirty into the video... I am listening to them talking about the British Empire and slavery before a conversation about the NHS has cropped up. Good grief.

I can't decide which Tory I hate more.

This sounds like a cult. They are not talking about any actual issues.

But...the slave owners got reparations for loss of 'property' and there are many wealthy Tories who owe their family prosperity to that money. Just saying...

"We abolished slavery 200 years ago"... Yes Robert, and replaced it with indentured servitude (slavery by another name) and that continued well into the 20th Century.

Fuck me! Is this the best the Tories have. They are truly broken.

Jenerick describing an empty gesture as the most British thing we can do is pretty accurate.

Tories will be lost for generations under either of these 2 😂

It’s funny that a joke a comedian makes 10 years later becomes what politicians are actually saying seriously

'The British Empire ended the trans-atlantic slave trade!'
So who ran the trans-atlantic slave trade?
'Well, let me check this book. Oh. Oh no.'

“We ended slavery.” Yes, after doing more than any other country to expand it. This is like setting someone’s house on fire and then going back an hour later to pour some water on the embers, expecting a pat on the back. Pathetic people.

I don't think either candidate is much good but Kemi seems ever so slightly more clued in than Robert. So the Tory members will no doubt elect Robert as leader.

"Most people who go to private school aren't wealthy.." Well, that's bollocks. Most people who send their kids to private schools are clearly wealthy enough to do so. Most children who attend private school come from the wealthiest families. Some students win scholarships and have their fees partially or fully covered if they are considered an asset to the school because of their excellence in which case it is the parents choice to try and make up the difference if they are less wealthy and they can either afford to do this or they can't. She's says it's cruel.. have these people have any awareness of what their party did to the least fortunate in this country? Look in the mirror and you may understand where cruelty really comes from.

Jeez the Tories really are scraping the barrel if that's the choice for leader! I bet their will be another Tory leader before another election.

Jenrick has definitely been on the bag in his time. You can't kid a kidder.

I laughed way more than I feel I should (at the candidates) watching people 'seriously' debate which one of these candidates are fit to be the next LEADER of the opposition party. Both are a bloody joke.

These two are the best the Conservative can do, God help us.
