Wow. Very cool to come across this video today. Thanks to Dime City Cycles for the interview and posting this video. I'd also like to give credit were it is due as I didn't restore this bike alone. Thanks to a good friend who wants to remain anonymous...he painted the frame and body panels and is considered to be one of the best local painters in my area. I'd also like to thank Patrick Joyce and my brother Tom for helping piece this one back together. John Seese helped with the poslishing of parts prior to assembly as well. Beautiful! I had one, red, low serial number. Bought it from a friend in 1972, with the condition I give him first dibs when I wanted to sell it. Sold it back to him in 1978 with the condition he gives ME first dibs if he wants to sell it. It's a guy thing. A year or more later I asked if he rode it much, said he sold it to someone else, never even gave me a call, and this still upsets me as I would have most certainly bought it back... It was my first motorcycle, and it is gone.

I have been looking for one for a long time. I've had a 5 or 6 Triumphs and they are my favorite Bikes but I would love to find a w1 or a w2 Beautiful Bikes but I am almost 62yrs and my health is not great but I am looking.

I have an early W1 as well, the seat and exhaust are like hen's teeth trying to find replacements!
