Part 4 of 5 of a series where we look at every type of mathematics. A lot of the world is aware of elementary algebra, calculus, Euclidean geometry, and basic statistics, but the study of mathematics is so much more widely varied than just these ideas. In this series, we take a quick tour of various kinds of mathematics from the most basic classes to topics of advanced mathematical research. You might just be surprised at how many different types of mathematics there are.

This episode is on discrete mathematics and covers:

Discrete Mathematics
Logic
Boolean Algebra
Set Theory
Combinatorics
Graph Theory
Network Theory
Number Theory
Discrete Geometry
Discrete Optimization
Information Theory
Game Theory
