Activists from Republican and Democratic parties offer opinions on Warnock-Walker debate

Moderators in Savannah asked candidates about a range of issues in the hourlong debate - such as election integrity and accusations of fraud in 2020. The three candidates in Georgia's gubernatorial election faced off in a debate Monday night ahead of the November election.

Republican Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp and Democratic challenger Stacey Abrams painted different visions for the future of Georgia, clashing on the economy, crime, voting and education as they debated Monday night after more than 100,000 Georgians swarmed to the polls of the first day of early voting.

Kemp issued perhaps his clearest commitment yet that he won’t pursue any new restrictions on abortion or birth control, clarifying his position on an issue he’s sometimes avoided as he seeks a second term.

Walker will at least vote with people who aren’t gonna get us into a nuclear war with Russia. And he ACTUALLY gave a yes or no answer pertaining to SCOTUS. No politicians EVER do that. I’ll be voting for Herschel, Warnock is a well spoken liar and manipulator who will make our gas $7 a gallon by Christmas if elected.

All the democrats are running on is abortion, I'm a 59 year old independent voter and there are so many other topics that I'm concerned about. I want to know what else democrats stand for and what you are going to do for me. After watching thst debate, I would definitely vote for Walker. He touched on concerns I have for this Country.

There is literally zero point asking activists what they think of a debate. They’re opinion will be unchanged and they’re talking points will be the same no matter what occurs. You need to talk to undecided voters and get a natural reaction.

I'm stunned, because in this particular debate against Warnock, Walker was definitely exceptional over Warnock, considering the fact that Walker comes in with no political experience. I was waiting for Walker to flop and look like an idiot, but he didn't. Walker not that articulate at all, but the man truly impressed me. Though I'm a devout Democrat, I can't just sit here and lie and say Warnock did better than Walker, because he did not. Warnock dodged a lot of questions, and his refusal to give a specific yes or no answer didn't sit well with me either. That made him look bad. I'm so disappointed in Warnock's performance here. That goes to show, no one should ever count an underdog out. Oh well, I guess that's life.

A hero won't talk about it, but HerscheI WaIker rescued an eIderIy woman from her wrecked and smoking car, in 1982. The door was jammed, but WaIker ripped the door open, and pulled the woman out of the car. No onIooker bothered to help, except a university employee, but he couldn't open the car door. Heroes don't try to be heroes... they just are.
