I weighed my 4WD. General loading and caravan/holiday loading.
I then use the tyre data, weight figures and tyre formula to determine the pressures front and rear.
This for stand road travel.
Then off road adjust by percentage( from another 4WD channel) eg 20% for light off road, , 50% for sand.
Interestingly, (memory recalls) Bridgestone USA provides an pressures chart.
If you replace standard tyres with offroad ABC tyres on Ford XYZ use these new road tyre pressures.
The only one manufacturer I found.

I just recently drove right down to the finke river on 20 psi and still had to deploy the max tracks. Softest sand I’ve ever seen.
