Cynthia Wang, MD
Cynthia Wang is an autoimmune neurology fellow at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, supported by the TMA’s James T. Lubin clinician-scientist fellowship award. She completed a pediatric neurology residency at the University of Michigan where she developed interest in rare neuro-immunological disorders in children. Her fellowship training thus far has involved seeing adult and pediatric patients with TM, ADEM, NMO, and ON with Dr. Benjamin Greenberg and his team. Her primary research interest is in immune-mediated and demyelinating central nervous system conditions in children, particularly ADEM. Her current research project involves studying the long-term neuropsychological and quality of life outcomes in ADEM.
