evn if they are not as evil as mermaid, actually because they are monsters and not a villain.


and another facts that ariel wanted to become a human might be not because she wanted to be free and married the prince but she might think that land are saver than oceans so she seems to be protecting herself and her future on the land

but yeah its whats in my opinion and mermaid or sirens both is dangerous in the myth but no need to hate on mermaids because it just a imaginations, its never real and it would never happend in this world

Kinda like 'Moana' she was also not allowed to go in the water because of her overprotective father but because of some stuffs she had to break the rule and she discovered that the water was her friend and did what she said

True and Ariel wanted to protect Melody from Morgana who wanted to kidnap her. She tried to do it before back when Melody was a baby. The sea wasn’t safe with Ursula’s sister Morgana around. When Melody went to her, she was dumb enough to trust her to give her fins so she can breath underwater. That spell only lasted till the next sunset like with the spell that Ursula did for Ariel that only lasted till the third sunset. Melody almost drowned after losing her legs and Morgana trapped her and Flounder in a cave sealed with ice, good thing her penguin and walrus friend came to the rescue, otherwise she would’ve been a goner.
