I had a little idea for your template that might be fun. You could try syncing the little character to move with the BPM of the track :) Here is the formula if you want to try (I think I remember it correctly):

NewSpeed = (60 * AnimationSteps)/(GifDuration * BPM)

NewSpeed - is the resulting number you want to multiply the GIF animation speed by.
AnimationSteps - is how many beats you want the GIF to loop over. The character in this video has 4 "taps" in her animation, so 4 would be a good number here.
GifDuration - is the total duration of the GIF.
BPM - is the BPM of the track.

This should keep the speed in sync. Then it's simply a matter of adjusting the start time of the animation so the "taps" are roughly aligned with the beats. Finally, apply frame blending if the motion seems to become jerky.

It probably requires a bit too much manual work to be a part of a permanent template, but I think it would be cool to see how it looks, if only just once ^^
