Relax & get super cozy because tonight we're opening up MTG cards!! I've never opened up Magic The Gathering cards before ... so I picked the new expansion Dusk Mourn House of Horror set and thought it would be PERFECT for celebrating Halloween and getting you into the spooky spirit! 🦇 🪦 🥀 Some insanely adorable Japanese Artist Showcase cards caught my eye in this set... the cutest cat, deer & lamb illustrations I have ever seen!! 😱 The cards are so cute it's SCARY!! (lol) I hope we can pull one together tonight - wish me luck! 🤞🥰

I love collecting & playing TCGs and have heard really great things about Magic - so I am very excited to open up some cards for the first time!! I enjoyed the spooky artwork and horror themes in this set.. as well as the little "blurbs" written on the bottom - they were quite entertaining and funny sometimes! 😂

Awesome to see you opening Magic! To answer a few of the questions you asked:

"What is the silver stamp?" - It's used to attempt to prevent fraud (they usually only appear on rare/mythic cards)

"Why do some have a gold borders?" - Gold bordered cards usually mean the card is more than 1 color (you can usually see which colors in the mana cost in the upper right corner)

"What is the 6/6?" - This represents a creatures power and toughness (P/T)

A nice little trivia. Norin is a returning character in mtg. He was originally printed in time spiral (2006) as "norin the weary" and had an effect that basically made him disappear from the board at any given action 😂. He is well known for his cowardice and survival wits. I loved the fact that he is back and he is now a coward rather than a human warrior. Really shows the development of the character in these 18 years
