Loving obscure B movies since a child, how in the world did I miss this one. Thank you for sharing this one, love it.

What the hell did I just watch? And how did I go 55 years without even hearing about it, let alone seeing it?!
In the end, it doesn't really matter. Apart from some plot holes, problems with pacing, continuity, the script, the dodgy acting & the obvious compromises made with production values, this is practically the perfect movie!
It has everything - Beautiful women, a mad scientist, an evil genius, subterranean monsters, even every man's secret fear: A drug that makes you want to go-go dance...
And there are not one but TWO plot twists at the end which are so unexpected, that I literally didn't expect them! (And it's been a very long time since I was able to say that about a film made in Hollywood...)

This film has a brilliantly risible script, accidental acting, and a story line that is riveting, or should I say requires riveting. This is an inverse masterpiece of epic proportions, that is best watched when under the influence of alcohol. The only sure thing that this film achieved, was a good time had by the producer and director of the film, wink, wink, say no more!

I made a double feature DVD with this movie, and the Mexican movie "Batwoman" 1967
I included trailers for several Bat themed classiv horror moviesm as well as several bat themed classic cartoons, AND I divided it in the middle with a drive-in movie double feature intermission cut.
It was fun composing the disc, and the two movies make a perfect double bill.
