I was almost half expecting her to thank all of Canada for the 93K she recently spent on our behalf. And that the other 40 people she treated also would like to say thank you for your tax dollar kindness.

Not only is that literally the most monotone expressionless speech from a Governor General I have ever heard in my life. But it's delivered curtesy of a government lead by a man child whose strategy is lies, accusations and divisive tactics.

The whole office of the governor General should be eliminated. It's largely all pageantry now as the queen is a paper tiger head of state. We're not "subjects" anymore.

I feel like when you're a government official that has to make statements on video, you have to be supplied some degree of media training.
Watching her read the teleprompter and speak unhuman-like.... it takes away from the message, to say the least.
