Domestic pressure on the Israeli government is rising as protesters blocked Tel Aviv's ring road Saturday following two demonstrations in Israel's biggest city that called for the release of hostages held in Gaza and criticised the government's handling of the war. In Jerusalem, hundreds picketed the home of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu demanding he resign. Israeli media reported smaller anti-government protests across the country.

Let's remember that Netanyahu's grand father had to change his last name to sound more hebrew. His original family name was Mileikowski, a typical polish last name hahaha

I think Israel is still showing a strong determination on their journey for long lasting peace in the face of immense international pressure.

So I don't really see why Netanyahu is so disliked? 🤔🤔🤔

Negotiating with terrorists is surrender! Sad to see some of Israelites thinks so.

Maybe they should protest in front of US embassy to ask US to put more pressure on those who have any influence over Hamas … maybe Qatar or Egypt?

As if when Netanyahu resignation is going to save them in the near future. Hamas sworn to repeat October 7 again and again. They should remember that.

Don’t pressure your idf they are doing their best to get back the hostages
Even he steps down you can’t get back the hostages immediately

Israeli citizens should direct their protests against Hamas and not their own government. Prime Minister Netanyahu should not be viewed as the enemy. Focusing on internal unity is crucial to prevent Hamas from gaining an advantage...internal division plays into your enemies's hands, both abroad and internally

I would have had hope for Israel and Israelis had they called for a just and lasting PEACE for Palestinians (and Israelis). It is short-sighted (and harmful to the security of their state) to view the current events in the context of a single man or the hostages.

Who is funding pro palestinian protests ?
It wouldn't be the first time
the U.S was involved in attempted coups and regime changes.
