Tell me guys; what video brought you to my channel?

My favourite team 17 game was super frog. Its a very nice platform collectathon. Project x was probably second and I got to the 3rd stage only once. The stage 2 boss moved way to fast and just crashed into you. It was a pattern boss so you could remember it if it wasn't for the spray of bullets and constant auto fire for 15 mins to kill it. In the end we turned off the sprite detection and just played through the 5 levels.

I remember seeing the Amiga 32, FM Towns Marty & the 3DO at Chicago CES in early/mid 90's? So long ago, LOL but I ended up purchasing the 3DO $699 but didn't keep up with whatever happens to the Amiga 32 or FM Towns Marty. Cool vid

BTW Gemma - you could likely get a much better image out of your stock CD32 by using an S-video cable. A lot of TV's don't have an S-video input these days, but if you have a Scart socket, you can easily get an S-video to Scart adapter, which will improve the video no-end.

If that's not an option, I think you can now get an expanding board that gives you the Amiga's usual sockets, but also includes HDMI. I think Retro Man Cave showed one off a while ago in his CD32 Trash to Treasure series.

One particular Team 17 game I loved in the Amiga, was the brilliant Arcade Pool, which you controlled using the mouse. It was a top-down, 2D representation of a pool game, but my god, it was fun and addictive playing against the computer or a friend. Great fun. Wish they'd revisit it.

Some nice nostalgia on the Amiga, I remember from back in the day Qwak was one of my aunts favourite on their Amiga she really liked platform and puzzle games while my uncles like the racing, pool/snooker and darts. A new Bowling game not sure about it as standalone/single play, but as a party game can be fun.

Like the look of Quak, looks a cool game, don't remember that back in the day, will look that one up 👍

Your custom SNES video is what did it for me. The Amiga CD32 looks like a Sega Genesis lol some of my fondest memories are from the 16 bit era. Games nowadays are so complicated. Do I sound like Grandpa Kong from Donkey Kong Country? Whoops

The mere mention of Team 17 did it for me Gemma, and of course your great personality! 🙂. Hoping that surprise Evercade cart in December is this makers collection?!🤞🏻. Oh and that Duck in that game, looks more like Oval than it does Daffy?! 😂. Liking this sieres . But won’t the up and coming Amiga mini make the 32 machine obsolete?! 🤔👍

Great games. I played "stock" Project-X to death, not making much progress. I remember the big ship worked the best. Good video

CD32 was my first Amiga that I have bought in middle of 1995. Of course in that time CD32 was already dead but even that time in Poland (where i live) CD32 was still popular due to its price compared to regular PCs or bigger Amigas. The bundled Diggers game WAS HUGH! I love this game and love the soundtrack. I couldn't even imagine that game didn't get better reception from gamers and press. The second game that totally worth its price that time was Beneath At Steel Sky - beautiful game and excellent soundtrack. Microcosm released as exclusive for CD32 wasn't great but music !!! I play a lot on my CD32 untill 1999 - in most cases games that could exchange with other owners. I love Worms, Sensible Soccer. CD32 has great potential but due to the lack of 3D performance, Commodore bankruptcy and lack of developer interest it had to be dead in the moment of release.

On the Switch there's kind of a follow up to Wii Sports Bowling in a game called 51 Worldwide Games. Qwak looks really fun on the Amiga CD32. Great video as always Gemma😎

Retro consoles never really die do they? Hobbyists still program & create games for them, & still breaking new ground with old hardware & software, .
I find that astonishing!😧🤔😀
