Data link layer (1/5): Themes and error control (Computer networks)

The data link layer is responsible for (1) controlling access to the physical medium, (2) delineating logical frames on the physical medium, and (3) performing error control functions to ensure that the integrity of the data is maintained while it is transmitted from one node to another. This video introduces these themes and then considers error control in more detail.
