What to know about the dangers of fentanyl

CBSLA Anchor Ross Palombo talks to Providence Saint Joseph emergency room's Dr. Angelique Campen about what people should know about the drug. Unfortunately, Campen says that a high percentage of pills being sold in the street are laced with fentanyl, a drug that Campen has used in the ER but says should never be used recreationally.

In an over dose, Norcan only blocks the fentanyl temporarily. And a study of confiscated fentanyl found most pills were twice the fatal amount!

Unfortunately, at this point in our history, the US population has been ‘trained’ to take and experiment with drugs. Many think that this was done purposefully by the medical and pharmacological industries, the government, the entertainment industry, and, in some cases, by the users’ own families and communities. So, here we are with decades past the big drug roll-out of pot, acid, and coke in the the 1960’s and we have families of three and four generations of drug dependence and new users joining the club everyday who are might be looking for a ‘simple’high or to prove something to the druggie friends. So, yeah, people aren’t perfect but when society, religious communities, schools and the government have for decades dropped the ball on providing environments that are safe, meaningful and provide healthy outlets for young people to flourish, people will experiment. That’s what the cartels and china are counting on. Remember, the drugs don’t magically just appear out of thin air, drug proliferation is part of a long-haul plan to kill us and to make us pay for it while they are doing it.

I was given these thinner pills that are supposedly Percocet they are m30s but they barely get me high like the others, and they make me twitch and they melt when I smoke them into a yellow color and smell bad and taste bad . Usually it’s a brown color when I get the good ones, I wonder why .

She's right. You don't notice that you're not breathing and the next day when you luckily wake up it's difficult to decently breathe, even during the day you're not breathing right, it really fucks you up. The only reason I started doing it was cause my father got mad at me for a stupid reason and told me to kill myself so I figured sure and started doing fentanyl on June 26th and I havent stopped. 2 nights ago I smoked so much I couldn't function then I smoked more. I'm still alive, I don't know why.
