As a celtic fan I am proud to have him play for the club and although I am really hoping we get one more season out of him I would also be really proud to see him move on and progress. You don't know these guys but you cannot help but feel a sense of pride for them when they show professionalism, turn up for your club and then move on to play for a top team and not look out of place.

Celtic don’t need to sell. He only signed a new deal a few months back and Celtic will/should hold for 25m+ and rightly so

Generally speaking, the big ticket sales from Celtic have been, at worst, worth the transfer fee.
I'm thinking, Dembele, Edouard, Tierney(minus the injuries), Van Dijk, Wanyama.
Can't think of a real obvious flop.
Even Edouard, who hasn't been great, only went for £14m.

Totally disagree with the last comment about always being a risk signing from Scotland.

Can’t think of any big signings from Celtic to premier league that have flopped? In at least the past 10 years or so.
Even Edouard, went to palace became number 2 striker and he played some great matches. For the price it was a steal for a premier league team.

Can think of a few of premier league signings coming up, and being unable to compete, so retuning or even going to championship.
