The SEKA Exceed RDC is a high-performance road bike designed to offer a competitive edge with its lightweight, aerodynamic frame. This bike is crafted from carbon fiber, resulting in a frame that weighs approximately 775 grams unpainted, making it one of the lighter options in its class. The Exceed RDC is built for both speed and endurance, featuring a relaxed geometry that enhances rider comfort over long distances while still providing the agility needed for rapid acceleration (Weight Weenies) (CCACHE).

SEKA, the brand behind the Exceed RDC, is relatively new in the cycling industry but has quickly gained recognition for its innovative designs and competitive pricing. SEKA’s approach involves meticulous engineering and wind tunnel testing to optimize their bikes' aerodynamic properties. Despite being newer to the market, SEKA has positioned itself as a strong competitor against more established brands by offering high-quality frames at a lower price point (Cycling Road) (Chinertown).

Reviews of the SEKA Exceed RDC highlight its excellent value for money, noting that it offers similar or even superior performance compared to more expensive models from Western brands. However, some concerns have been raised about customer service and the durability of the frames, which potential buyers should consider (Chinertown).

Overall, the SEKA Exceed RDC stands out for its combination of lightweight construction, aerodynamic efficiency, and cost-effectiveness, making it a compelling choice for serious cyclists looking to enhance their performance without breaking the bank (Cycling Road) (Gbikes BS).

Finally the video is out 😂 and yes I’m still riding this bike.

So for all those people who somehow manages to fix the issues with “Carbon Paste” I have already done that. Many times. And nothing works 🤔

What DID work though was placing a skateboard grip tape on the inner side of the frame, contacting the back of the seatpost.

Thank you for coming to my ted talk.

Nice bike, glad he hasn’t bowed to the ‘most bling wins’ mentality.

I’d recommend trying ‘cricket bat tape’ as Durianruder suggests.
After that I would recommend trying a replacement seatpost.

i own the same white RDC in M size and i weights close to 90kg. Never had any slippage on the seatpost, though i have to torque it bolt from recommended 6 to closer to 8Nm to eliminate some creaks. I suspect some grease might have gotten onto the clamp, frameset & post itself. Take off the post, clean and wipe with brake cleaner to remove any oily residue. Then finally clean off again with alcohol. Reassemble with carbon paste, i use finishline fiber grip. Torque the bolt down to 7Nm.

You should probably try putting some of the plastic cover used when u buy the mattress cover...you wrap one layer around the seatpost and put some carbon grip paste should help...

Hi as a bike shop owner, i always recommend to buy 2nd old model high end frame than china unfamous brand, ex you can buy even cheaper like sworks tarmac sl6 or pinarelo F10 than this new seka frameset

I have the same bike n colour, at the first 2 weeks i had the same problem with the seatpost by using Morgan Blue carbon paste, but after i replaced it with the Finish Line fiber grip. I never have any issues with it. Make sure you clearn all the old carbon paste with Methylated spirits before apply new paste.
BTW tell the Pina s guy that his bike also make in China

Nice guy! a humble cyclist enjoying his hobby. He shouldn’t be roasted in the comment lah.. those who should get roasted are those who wear full PNS kit with their s-works sl8 /dogma F and then struggling at Mandai hog the entire lane on their cafe ride

The other option in the unlikely event that medium strngth loctite on the bolts does not work is anti slip grip tape. I have used it sucessfully on a handlebar that kept moving every time I hit a pothole. I have been told by other riders they have also used it to solvce a sliding seatpost. It works better than applying carbon fiber paste

Suggestion for the slipping seat post: Apply multiple (start with 3) layers of acrylic paint (for hobby and models - can try Matt clear coat first instead of colored paint) and see if that solves the issue.

Tires, wheels, geometry have the biggest impact on ride feel, not the pattern of the paint which spells out a brand name.

What I did to stop the slipping,
1. Clean both the seatpost and seat tube with alcohol.
2. Apply carbon paste to the seatpost covering approximately 2 cm below the clamped area. Apply on seatpost clamp too(I use Finish Line).
3. Torqued the seatpost clamp to 6 Nm
4. Give the saddle a few good hits on the top and sides
5. Retorqued to 6 Nm again
Finally the most crucial part, ride the bike and retorqued it again after dropping a few friends

There’s a 3D-printed headset spacer in TB that convert the frame to semi-integrated cabling, similar to a 2024 Propel

I like Seka bikes and I'd happily pull up to the cafe and group ride on a Seka. I can't say this about all the other china brand bikes like Elves and Winspace etc.

About seatpost problem I have some experience in cannodale supersix evo3 my2020
but I have to describe with mandarin if you dont mind.
